Revolution is the longest-established independent skateboard supplier in Africa -  proudly "Skater Owned & Operated" since the company started in 1999. Over the past 15 years they have changed and grown skate culture in South Africa - and getting to work on this project was a huge honour for me.

Their previous logo was too sterile for the brand and hadn't stood the test of time, so we developed a new logo that was more classic, and also more relevant to the industry. Skateboarding has always been about doing things for yourself, never giving up, staying true to your beliefs and not giving a fuck about what other people think.

I worked on a very simple, strong, unrefined hand-drawn approach. We wanted the logo to feel real; honest, no-bullshit, raw, and just a little bit punk-rock... celebrating the D.I.Y nature of skateboarding and the heritage of the company.
