"Used Skateboard" AE 2012 - custom typography. Hand-painted (old-school traditional signage).

This work was created for an exhibition to raise money for a local skate park. Each artist was given a second-hand "pre-skated" deck to work with. I was interested in the concept of the board being used... and I combined this idea with the fact that (surprisingly) many skateboarding tricks have names that can be re-appropriated to become very sexual. The candy colours distract from the implicit violence.
