Living in Cape Town, the ocean is a constant source of happiness. Wavescape provides surfers/swimmers/divers/(insert any ocean-activity here) with an online resource to check the weather patterns, swell, and general surf-related news all over the country. Annually they host a charity auction of 10 surfboards, customised by local artists. (This year the money raised went to Shark Spotters, a conservation initiative that works to protect both humans and great white sharks.)
